Applications

1) Apply by completing the online application form HERE on the AA Visiting School page. If you are not able to make an online application, email visitingschool@aaschool.ac.uk for instructions to pay by bank transfer.

2) Once you complete the online application and make a full payment, you are registered to the programme. A CV or a portfolio is not required.

3) The deadline for applications is: 16th June 2018

We encourage students to secure their place in the workshop by signing up before May 1st to be eligible for bursary applications. Limited number available.

4) All participants travelling from abroad are responsible for securing any visa required, and are advised to contact their home embassy early. After payment of fees, the AA School can provide a letter confirming participation in the workshop.

 

ELIGIBILITY

The workshop is open to current architecture, planning and design students, phd candidates and young professionals of all backgorunds. Software Requirements: Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino (SR7 or later). No previous knowledge of the softwares are required, as they will be taught on the course.

 

LANGUAGE

The workshop will be conducted in English, although Spanish might also be used. A basic to moderate level of comprehension of English is recommended.

 

FEES

The AA Visiting School requires a fee of £695 per partecipant, or £795 for professionals, which includes a £60 Visiting membership fee.

If you are a student, a limited amount of concessions are available at £596 (including a £60 AA VS membership fee) if you apply before 1st May. Please contact the programme heads at terrainlab@aaschool.ac.uk with a copy of your student ID to receive the concession code.

All early bird fees end on May 1st.

 

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion from the Architectural Association endorsed by the directors of the programme.
